Signs Of Silence is supported 100% by fund raising events and donations from people like you. Since our inception we have never believed in Government support or relying soley on grants to fund our agency's goals and objectives. Our approach for support requires participation from the deaf and allows us to partner with local businesses to raise money and establishing long lasting relationships that benefits everyone. By following this philosophy we are creating more of an awareness of our deaf community and also creating more opportunities to achieve accessibility to needed services.


There are several ways you can support SOS....

1. Patron Program: Our Patron program allows you to support SOS monthly by sending in a check or money order in any amount you want. A receipt will be mailed back to you promptly.

2. United Way: Every year the United Way has a campaign from Sept to Dec and allows you to support us through payroll deduction. Whether it's $1 a paycheck or $5, everything makes a difference. If you work for a Federal Agency (Post Office, Military, SSI, DMV or the IRS office) you can support us through the CFC (Combined Federal Campaign). Ask your Employer about this.

3. Online Donation: Just simply click on the "Donate" picture below and be directed to paypal where you can donate online through credit card. For many people this is easy and convenient.

All your donations are tax deductible. We do not have paid staff. We are strictly volunteer based. This means 100 % of your donation goes directly to improve the quality of life for the deaf community in San Diego. Your investment in a deaf life is appreciated!
